Interior design is like a puzzle
I bring a multifaceted background to how I approach the design of interiors: a career in fashion apparel, training in art and painting, an education in economics, post-graduate studies in languages, and substantial hands-on experience from completing numerous home renovations.
These experiences shape the way I approach a space. A room may call for a particular layout, require a specific color, need a sense of warmth, or demand the use of pattern, all while serving its functional purpose. I see these needs clearly and enjoy bringing that vision to life collaboratively with clients, tailoring their space to how they want and need it to be.
Every decision contributes to the overall design, and seeing it through is an essential part of the process. My renovation experience allows me to work comfortably with architects, general contractors, or independently, managing and coordinating every aspect of a project including subcontractors.
I have worked under a wide range of constraints such as budget, time, structure, and style. And, I very much thrive on the problem-solving required to complete the puzzle and create spaces that truly work.
